NPK Avtopribor Iskra will open a production facility for automotive generators for Lada Vesta, Granta and Largus in Togliatti. The company will be provided with a concessional loan of 567.5 million rubles for the creation of import-substituting production, the Industrial Development Fund (IDF) said.
The company will launch assembly lines for the production of stators, rotors, generator final assembly lines, as well as equipment for quality control and product testing. In the future, the company will supply products to other assembly lines in Russia. Total investment in the project will exceed 760 million rubles.
After reaching full capacity, NPK Avtopribor Iskra intends to supply AvtoVAZ with up to 480 thousand generators per year. The capacity of the new production will allow to produce 500 thousand units annually. The generator was promised a warranty period of operation of 100 thousand km of mileage with a total service life of 360 thousand km.
Earlier www1.ru reported that AvtoVAZ will release the newest Lada Granta Cross in the liftback body in the summer of 2025.
