Sollers Company has shown how Sollers ST6 and ST8 pickups are assembled at the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant. According to experts, this has become a significant step for the Russian automotive industry.
The assembly of cars takes place on a new, modernized line. Pickups are produced in a complete cycle, which ensures high quality and production efficiency.
The assembly line has been lengthened and equipped with rotary tables to increase production volumes. The final assembly of the ST6 and ST8 models is carried out on a separate line, specially created for this line.
The first production cars rolled off the assembly line at the end of January this year. The pickups have a frame structure and all-wheel drive, borrowed from Toyota Hilux and Land Cruiser Prado.
Technically, Sollers ST6 and ST8 are based on JAC T6 and JAC T8. The cars are equipped with a 136-horsepower diesel engine and a 176-horsepower gasoline engine.
