The Iranian Air Force Command may announce the commissioning of the Russian-bought Su-35 generation 4++ multirole super-maneuverable fighters as early as March. This was reported by Defender Iran.
It looks like we really need to wait for a surprise on March 19!
Tehran has not officially confirmed this information.
Bulgarian Military writes that this date was not chosen by chance. The commissioning of the Su-35 will take place on the eve of Nowruz (March 21), an important holiday for Iran.
Tehran has used such moments to demonstrate strength — recall at least the presentation of the Bavar-373 air defense system in 2019.
Analysts suggest that the Su-35s will be stationed at the Hamadan base or near Bandar Abbas, where the Su-57 was previously spotted.

- Normal takeoff weight — 25,300 kg
- Engine type — 2 x AL-41F1S turbofan engines
