The "Yandex Drive" service team has announced a significant relaxation of requirements for drivers. To rent a car, you must be over 18 years old and have a category "B" driver's license.
Previously, the minimum age for rental was 21 years, and driving experience of at least two years was also required.
However, special conditions apply to renting cars of brands such as Mercedes, Audi, Tank, or "Moskvich 3e". You can't just get behind the wheel of these cars. You need to be at least 26 years old, have a category "B" driving experience of at least six years. The account in the "Yandex. Drive" application must be active, the mileage in the service must be at least 30 kilometers, and the overall driving rating must be 42 or higher.
The new rules apply in all cities where "Yandex Drive" is present, including Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan, Sochi, Yekaterinburg, and Saratov.
