Russian armored car "Spartak" spotted at exercises in Iran

The Russian multi-purpose armored vehicle AMN-590951 "Spartak" (developed by the "Military-Industrial Company") was spotted during exercises of the ground forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) of Iran. This is reported by Defence blog.

"Spartak" is designed to transport military personnel and conduct reconnaissance. The vehicle has enhanced mine and ballistic protection.

Tehran seeks to modernize its armed forces and relies on Moscow for the purchase of combat vehicles. At the same time, Russia has not officially confirmed the transfer of AMN-590951 "Spartak" to Iran.
