The opening of the section of the M-12 "Vostok" high-speed highway from Kazan to Yekaterinburg is scheduled for the end of June. This was announced by Russian Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin after flying over the construction site between Tatarstan and the Sverdlovsk Region.
According to Khusnullin, the pace of work is good, with only minor delays.
There were delays for a number of reasons, including weather conditions. Last year there were heavy rains, in some places the road was washed out, and sand and gravel could not be delivered.
Currently, you can drive from Moscow to Kazan along the M-12 "Vostok" highway. In the near future, the authorities plan to extend the highway to Yekaterinburg, and then to Tyumen.
Earlier,www1.ru reported how much it nowcosts to travel on toll roads, what the rules are, and where to stop for a rest.
