African countries have shown great interest in the Russian "Typhoon-Air Defense" combat vehicle. This was reported by Vyacheslav Dzirkaln, Deputy General Director of the Almaz-Antey Air and Space Defence Corporation for Foreign Economic Activity.
A number of CIS countries and the Asia-Pacific region are interested in the vehicle. African countries are directly declaring their interest. Here we are talking more about countries where there are no such large complexes, no cruise missiles, and so on. Rather, such local conflicts.
One of the main tasks of the "Typhoon-Air Defense" vehicle is to cover military units and subdivisions, including on the march. The vehicle is capable of firing from a machine gun on the move at speeds up to 20 km/h.
In order for the detachment to be able to conduct combat operations without leaving the vehicle, a rotating turret with a machine gun mount for the "Kord" machine gun and a hatch for the machine gunner are installed on its roof. The second hatch is intended for the operator of the man-portable air defense system.

- KamAZ chassis with 4x4 wheel arrangement
- Special armored capsule inside the combat vehicle
- "Kord" machine gun, 12.7 mm caliber
- 9 anti-aircraft guided missiles in launch tubes
