AvtoVAZ has registered three new trademarks — Lada Parus, Lada Ariva, and Lada Tigris. Information about this appeared in the open database of the Federal Institute of Industrial Property (FIPS). These names may be used for future car models from AvtoVAZ.
All three trademarks are registered under a broad list of product categories, including the "automobiles" and "spare parts" classes. The applications were published on February 18, but the applicant information is not specified in them.
It is worth noting that AvtoVAZ has previously registered many names that were never used for production cars. For example, in 2012, applications were filed for the names Fortuna, Ladoga, Svoboda, Slavia, and Quanta, and in 2015 — Binar, Antiga, XRave, Excite, X Path, Expira, and Intriga. The automaker also has names like Kvest, Onega, Kam4atka, and others in reserve.
