Progress MS-28 spacecraft to undock from ISS on February 25

Preparation for the undocking of the cargo ship has already been completed

The Progress MS-28 cargo ship will leave the International Space Station on February 25, Roscosmos reported.

As part of the preparation for undocking on February 13, the crew of the Russian segment carried out the necessary work, including the preparation of removable equipment for loading on board the ship.

Progress MS-28 was launched into space from Baikonur on August 15, 2024, and docked to the Zvezda module two days later.

This ship, designed to service orbital stations, is used to deliver cargo to the ISS, including fuel, scientific equipment, oxygen, water and food. In addition, it participates in the correction of the station's orbit.

The undocking of Progress will free up space for future missions.
