Luxury Aurus cars will begin to be equipped with Russian tires. The domestic manufacturer of luxury cars is partially switching to tires developed by Gislaved, which is part of the Cordiant holding.
This holding produces passenger car tires of the Cordiant, Tunga, Torero and Gislaved brands, as well as Cordiant Professional and Tyrex truck tires, and products from Meteor auto, Meteor thermo and Meteor tech.
The transition to domestic tires will not save the budget for Aurus owners, who should be prepared for significant expenses. Prices for spare parts and consumables for this car look extremely high even for a luxury brand.
Note that Rostec is developing a unified maintenance system for premium cars. It should visualize and track the processes of service maintenance at all stages of the vehicle's life cycle. The system will become a "single window" for brand partners.
