In 2024, Aurus planned to sell five thousand cars, but managed to sell just over a hundred. Fourteen cars were bought by individuals, the rest by companies. At least 36 premium cars were in a special configuration, some of them with armored bodies.
The "Komendant" model was not very popular in 2024, with only 21 cars purchased.
One of the main buyers of premium cars remained the Federal Protective Service. Last year, it purchased only 16 cars. The "Russia" Transport Complex of the Administrative Directorate of the President of the Russian Federation purchased 25 cars.
Among other buyers are companies actively cooperating with government agencies. For example, "Solt" LLC has organizations such as "Rosoboronexport" and TsODD among its customers. Most Aurus sales are made through government funding.
Journalists emphasize that the bulk of Aurus cars continue to find their buyers in government structures.
