Foreign heavy military equipment, in particular tanks, is completely inferior to Russian counterparts in terms of running gear. This was reported by military expert Yan Gagin.
The analyst noted that specialists of repair units take only Russian equipment and domestic spare parts into operation. Trophy Western tanks and armored personnel carriers are not adapted to combat operations in modern conditions, Gagin noted.
They [Western tanks] may shoot well, but they drive poorly. They get stuck on Russian soil, because there are no lugs on the tracks, and the smooth tracks slide, mixing the clay.
