The "Malva" self-propelled artillery gun (SPG) with a high-impulse rifled high-ballistics gun 2A36 "Hyacinth-B" received the index 2S44 "Hyacinth-K". This was reported by military expert Evgeny Damantsev.

According to him, the unit is equipped with an advanced modernized automated fire control system (AFCS), providing lightning-fast deployment of the complex without lengthy surveying and loading into the fire control system of target coordinates received from third-party intelligence sources.

"Malva" is capable of firing updated rocket-assisted projectiles UAS ZOF95 "Krasnopol-M2" at a distance of up to 37-40 km.

This range allows for successful counter-battery counteraction against 155-mm guns with a barrel length of 39 calibers, using guided artillery shells M982 Block IB Excalibur, and in the event that the enemy erects firing positions 20-25 km from the line of combat contact - guns with a barrel length of 52 calibers using the same M982 Block IB.
