A new version of the "Grad" multiple launch rocket system with additional protection against drones has been developed for the military. The Ministry of Defense showed a video.
The footage shows that the updated combat vehicle differs from the usual version of the MLRS. The protected version received an armored cabin and electronic warfare systems to suppress UAVs. Also, the package of guides for launching rockets is covered with a protective net from above.
The "Grad-1" MLRS includes a 9P138 combat vehicle, a 9M28F unguided rocket, a 9T450 transport vehicle, and a set of special arsenal equipment 9F380.
