Russian military personnel spoke about the details of the combat work of the crew of the Buk-M2 anti-aircraft missile system (SAM). The soldiers have only 40 seconds to detect a target. During this time, they manage to record the object using a radar station, transmit information to the control point and strike.
At the same time, air defense units have to build entire detection and fixation networks.
All air defense systems are located according to a clear scheme in order to most effectively close the sky over our positions and units. Each crew works according to its own. Some destroy scouts, others destroy airplanes and helicopters.
The military clarified that they use the Buk-M2 to destroy missiles of various types. American ATACMS, British Storm Shadow and French SCALP are also used.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the unique Sarych-2 reconnaissance drone with its own protection against electronic warfare and an HD camera has entered service with the military.
