The scammers tricked victims into logging into their marketplace account, thereby gaining access to the user's personal account. Representatives of Wildberries and Russ confirmed that the suspicious resource was quickly detected and blocked by the marketplace's security service.

In total, in 2024, Wildberries and Russ discovered and blocked more than 3,000 phishing sites that looked like the official marketplace website.

Earlier it became known that scammers are creating fake utility bills with QR codes that look almost real. People scan the QR code, thinking they are paying off the debt, and reveal their personal data. Spyware is also installed on their devices. Only a month later, when the real receipt arrives, do they realize they have been deceived.
