The owner of the "Volgoneft-239" tanker, which sank in the Black Sea, through his representative, spoke about the condition of the remaining vessels of this series. There is only one tanker left that does not require repair.
There are five tankers left in the series: three are under repair, two are in navigation. One of them is now in Kerch and will most likely be repaired there.
The only tanker that does not need repair is located on the Don River. The broken vessels will wait for the opening of navigation and then go to the ship repair plants.
The crash of the tankers "Volgoneft-212" and "Volgoneft-239" occurred on December 15, 2024. The last vessel broke in the area of the third-fourth tanks (reservoirs for storing liquids) and sank. At the end of January 2025, specialists began dismantling the stern of the tanker. The work is scheduled to be completed by March 31.
