The "Ruselectronics" holding (part of Rostec) has fully fulfilled its contractual obligations for the supply of fire alarm systems for domestic Tu-214 and Il-114 aircraft. This was reported by the press service of the state corporation.
Fire alarm sensors are located in the engine compartments of aircraft. If the temperature exceeds a critical level, the main equipment unit sends a fire hazard signal to the automatic flight control system.
Based on this information, pilots decide on the elimination of a possible source of ignition, as well as on the feasibility of continuing the flight. The shipped equipment will replace imported analogues.
In the face of sanctions pressure, "Ruselectronics" guarantees not only regular deliveries of domestic equipment, but also its maintenance.
