The main Russian arms concern "Kalashnikov" presented a line of modern Izh electric motorcycles at the international scientific and technical festival of robotics "Kalashnikov-Technofest" at the Izhevsk State Technical University (IzSTU).
Among the exhibited models is a combat electric motorcycle (BME), designed for special tasks, as well as an electric version of the legendary Izh-49 motorcycle in retro style, and others.
About the combat electric motorcycle (BME)
The combat electric motorcycle was developed on the basis of the civilian electric motorcycle "Izh-Pulsar". Its design features increased strength, an improved cooling system and an ergonomic design.
BMEs have high maneuverability and move well over rough terrain. The use of electric motors reduces noise, the thermal signature of the motorcycle and reduces operating costs.
