Sales of the new sports modification of the classic Lada Niva Sport SUV are scheduled to begin in mid-2025. This was announced by Konstantin Gystarov, leading design engineer of the Lada Sport division.
Sales of the Lada Niva Sport will begin closer to the middle of this year than to its end.
Official prices for the Lada Niva Sport have not yet been announced. Gystarov clarified that AvtoVAZ is still in the process of forming them.
Also, the Niva Sport will acquire an even smaller-scale version called Silk Way in honor of the Silk Way Rally.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that the Niva Sport will receive a powerful 1.8-liter engine, reinforced suspension, upgraded brakes and transmission.
