KamAZ is the first among domestic automakers to introduce a voice assistant in its cars. With the help of the system, the driver will be able to control many functions of the car, for example, control the climate control.
The voice assistant will also help launch the necessary applications, make or answer incoming phone calls, find out the date, time, switch tracks in the media player and radio stations, change the volume, and even play games while waiting in traffic jams.
The serial production of KamAZ K5 generation vehicles with a voice assistant started in 2025. The functionality will also appear in KamAZ vehicles produced from the second quarter of 2023. This will not even require a visit to a service center, as the on-board system will be updated "over the air".
The Tomsk company "Enbisys" acted as a partner in the development of the voice assistant in the KamAZ on-board information system.
