State Duma Deputy from the LDPR, Yaroslav Nilov, proposed considering the possibility of issuing a cryptocurrency called "Zhirinovsky." The idea was timed to coincide with the upcoming 80th anniversary of the party's founder.
Nilov said that he would discuss this initiative with his faction colleague, Andrei Lugovoi, who deals with issues of legislative regulation of cryptocurrencies.
Taking into account the relevance, and most importantly - the creativity and brightness of this topic, especially on the eve of Zhirinovsky's 80th anniversary, I believe that it is necessary to comprehensively study this issue, explore it from the point of view of its practical implementation.
He noted that the successful launch of the cryptocurrency of US President Donald Trump and his wife Melania is currently being discussed in the world. The parliamentarian added that experts had suggested creating the "Zhirinovsky" cryptocurrency, pointing to the similarity between Zhirinovsky and Trump in temperament, political foresight and creativity.
Earlier it became known that Donald Trump launched his own cryptocurrency (memecoin) OFFICIAL TRUMP. According to crypto exchanges, its value quadrupled in the first 24 hours, and the trading volume exceeded $10 billion. Later, Trump's wife, Melania, also announced the release of a cryptocurrency.
