The Moscow Department of Information Technology has launched testing of a new free Telegram bot to protect against cyber fraud.
The bot uses artificial intelligence to analyze text and voice messages, as well as screenshots of correspondence. It allows you to identify signs of fraud, such as emotional pressure, manipulation, and suspicious links. The service uses language models, as well as text and speech recognition technologies.
Testing will last until February 27. At the end of the pilot phase, the bot will be finalized taking into account feedback. It is expected that it will fully work in the spring of 2025.
The neural network used in the bot will be constantly trained based on user requests, which will improve the accuracy of fraud recognition and expand knowledge about fraudulent schemes.
