In 2024, Roskomnadzor recorded 135 cases of database leaks, resulting in more than 710 million records about Russians being leaked online.

The number of leaks in the past year has increased significantly compared to previous periods.

In 2023, Roskomnadzor recorded 168 personal data leaks, with approximately 300 million records leaked online. For comparison, in 2022, 600 million records were leaked online, and the agency registered more than 140 cases of data leaks.
