Russian artillerymen can prepare the towed long-range gun 2A36 "Hyacinth-B" for firing in one and a half to two minutes instead of four, the Ministry of Defense press service reported.
The department noted that unmanned aerial reconnaissance helps to identify the exact coordinates of targets.
This week we hit two guns, effectively. That is, we are not idle either and respond just as quickly. On average, it takes us about one and a half to two minutes to respond to a command, and we fire.
The towed gun 2A36 "Hyacinth" is a long-range weapon capable of destroying enemy manpower and equipment at a distance of up to 28.5 km with high-explosive fragmentation shells and up to 33.5 km with rocket-assisted projectiles. In addition, it is possible to fire anti-tank cumulative and smoke shells.
