Russian anti-aircraft gunners have developed the newest buggies with turrets to cover heavy equipment based on the domestic "Niva" SUV.
A basket with a shooter is installed in the back of the buggy, which turns right and left. The turret consists of six paired Kalashnikov assault rifles and four paired guns.
In addition, the turret received 24 barrels that hit drones with buckshot, both with rear shots and side shots. The vehicle's senior crew member controls the turret with a joystick, the firing range is 100 m.
Mobile fire groups have proven their effectiveness, personnel and equipment keep the sky under lock and key.
Earlier, footage went viral on the Web with one of the assault units, which mainly moves on motorcycles. Support to the fighters is provided by heavy trucks, the cab of which is sheathed with metal sheets to protect the crew from drones.
