In 2024, a batch of multifunctional Uran-6 robotic demining systems entered the engineering troops of the Central Military District (CMD). This was reported in the press service of the Central Military District.

The Uran-6 demining complex is a light armored vehicle with demining systems and remote control, designed to make passages in minefields and continuous clearing of the area from explosive objects and anti-personnel mines.

Main characteristics of the Uran-6 demining vehicle:

  • Weight in running order — 6000 kg
  • Track — 1230 mm
  • Engine power — 176 kW, 240 hp
  • Control and video transmission range: in an open area — up to 800 m, in urban conditions — up to 300 m
  • Remote control system weight — no more than 15 kg
