SberDevices and Gidrolock have developed a solution to protect Russian apartments and houses from water leaks. The Sber smart leak protection system can be installed both during the construction of residential complexes and by the residents themselves with the help of specialists after moving in.
The Sber leak protection system consists of electric ball valves installed in cold and hot water pipes, a control unit in the plumbing cabinet, and sensors near the bathtub, toilet, sinks, washing machine and dishwasher. The Sber Optimal Wi-Fi smart control unit controls the sensors and the electric drive of the valves, and the smart leak sensor or radio sensor is triggered when water gets on them.
Up to 20 electric ball valves, up to 200 wired sensors and up to 21 radio sensors can be connected to the system. In the event of an accident, the Sber Ultimate electric ball valves will shut off the water within 15 seconds, and the user will receive a message in the form of an SMS message or push notification in the "Salut" application about the leak. The system will work even without the Internet.
The leak protection system can be controlled remotely via the Salut mobile application or by voice using Sber smart devices with a virtual assistant. For example, you can set the "I'm going on vacation" scenario by voice, and the water supply will automatically shut off. With remote control, the country from which the owner monitors his apartment or house does not matter, but it is important that the user has a stable Internet connection.
Before wet cleaning the floor, the user will need to turn on the appropriate mode. It lasts an hour, and if the leak sensor is triggered during this time, the water will not shut off. Activation occurs via the command "Salut, turn on cleaning mode".
