The company "Sputnix," specializing in space development in Russia, announced the results of testing a new technology on board the HyperView-1 spacecraft, designed for hyperspectral imaging of the Earth. It was created on the basis of the CubeSat 6U platform.
During the tests, specialists conducted flight qualification of the display installed on the "wing" of the solar panel.
As reported in "Sputnix," a 4.3-inch screen was chosen to test the technology. And thanks to the presence of a compact technological camera on board the satellite, it is possible not only to obtain colorful images of the Earth.
But also to capture memorable and significant moments in a space setting.
In the process of flight tests of the satellite, the company clarified that one of the key points was setting the optimal orientation for shooting. At the same time, parameters such as the illumination of the earth's surface and the panel, the brightness of the display, as well as the aesthetic component of the frame were taken into account.
The technology is experimental in nature, and has fully confirmed its operability!
The company noted that they "upgraded the satellite."
As a reminder, Sitronics Space is no longer part of Sitronics Group. It was renamed to the "Sputnix" group of companies and is now under the direct control of the Joint Stock Financial Corporation "Sistema".
Earlier www1.ru reported that the Russian private space company "Sputnix" presented a new educational and laboratory model of a lunar base, created for space classes and robotics schools. This complex is a multifunctional platform that can be adapted to various tasks.
