The "Moskvich" plant has started production of "Moskvich-3" hatchbacks with manual control. The car can be driven by people with disabilities.
Instead of traditional pedals, the car is controlled using special manual devices.
All work on installing the manual control system is carried out directly on the assembly line. All cars are provided with a factory warranty.
Care for everyone, convenience for all.
The cars have successfully passed the certification procedure and will be launched into mass production in early 2025.
Just six months ago, we approached the Moskvich plant with the idea of creating a car with manual control for people with disabilities.
According to Deputy Minister of Defense Anna Tsivileva, the plant's management responded to the request very quickly. At the moment, an assembly line has already been launched that will allow the production of the required number of cars. Next year, cars will begin to be transferred to people with disabilities. The vehicles will be equipped with special devices for loading wheelchairs.
Added: the press service of the Moskvich car factory reported that the ceremonial launch of production took place on December 20. The ceremony was attended by State Secretary - Deputy Minister of Defense of Russia, Chairman of the "Defenders of the Fatherland" Foundation Anna Tsivileva and Deputy Head of the Department of Transport and Road Transport Infrastructure of the city of Moscow Dmitry Pronin.
Earlierwww1.ru reported that Russia has seen a significantincrease in demand for Moskvich cars. Despite the summer decline in sales, by autumn the brand entered the top 10 most popular brands in the country for the first time. This was facilitated by corporate sales and the manufacturer's stable pricing policy.
