The Kalashnikov concern has created a new Novator target complex based on artificial intelligence for training shooters. This was reported in the press service of the enterprise.
The development is designed to improve the efficiency of the use of small arms. The AMC includes an acoustic target, a falling target installation of the UMU-S-127 type with a standard target fixed on it, an interface unit and a personal electronic computer for controlling the operation of the complex.
The Novator complex is capable of recording the number and location of hits in the plane of a standard target, as well as separating shots in order of priority - the first and subsequent ones from the fired ammunition. The system records close misses relative to the target, which allows for a more accurate assessment of shooting results.
It is worth noting that "Novator" eliminates the influence of ricocheting bullets or the ingress of lumps of earth into the target.
Earlier www1.ru reported that in Russia they will test the Stretta laser system next summer.
