Прорыв в аэростатике: в Москве создадут беспилотный дирижабль

The development will be equipped with an automated pneumatic balancing system

The Dolgoprudny Design Bureau of Automation (part of the Rostec Group) will develop technologies for creating stratospheric aerostats capable of long-duration flights. Scientists from the Bauman Moscow State Technical University will participate in this project.

One of the key characteristics of future aerostats will be an automated pneumatic balancing system. The device will independently regulate the pressure in the aerostat balloons to ensure the stability of the airship's shape, regardless of changes in altitude and temperature.

The development of aerostatic technologies has been underway at Bauman MSTU since 2021. In 2023, specialists created the largest unmanned airship in Russia. It successfully completed a 10-hour flight over a distance of about 200 kilometers.

Earlier, www1.ru reported that an unmanned airship will be launched in Novosibirsk.
