The Dolgoprudny Design Bureau of Automation (part of the Rostec Group) will develop technologies for creating stratospheric balloons capable of long-duration flights. Scientists from the Bauman Moscow State Technical University will participate in this project.
One of the key characteristics of future airships will be an automated pneumatic balancing system. The device will independently regulate the pressure in the airship balloons to ensure the stability of the airship's shape, regardless of changes in altitude and temperature.
The development of aerostatic technologies has been underway at the Bauman Moscow State Technical University since 2021. In 2023, specialists created the largest unmanned airship in Russia. It successfully completed a 10-hour flight over a distance of about 200 kilometers.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that an unmanned airship will be launched in Novosibirsk.
