An unusual tracked "Turtle" assault armored personnel carrier, created on the basis of the ATS-59G medium artillery tractor, has been spotted on the front lines. The soldiers had to additionally armor the six-seater cabin and cover it with an anti-drone "barbecue", and the stern was covered with special chains.
The platform can carry 12 soldiers or three tons of cargo. In this modification, the ATS-59G is often equipped with 25-mm shipborne anti-aircraft guns 2M-3M.
The tractor weighs 14 tons, engine power is 300 hp. Maximum speed on the highway is 45 km/h, fuel range is up to 350 km.
