More than two million residents of Russia have transferred their email to the xmail.ru domain, which belongs to Mail service. Over the past three months, the number of mailboxes created on this domain has increased by 30%.
When switching, users can keep the name of the mailbox of a foreign mail service, but with a new email address. As a result, the address will begin with the previous login and end with xmail.ru. This email address can be used to register on any Russian sites.

The xmail.ru domain from VK began operating in mid-2023. It allows you to transfer letters from accounts of foreign services while keeping the old login. As of October 2024, more than 200 thousand Russians have already transferred their mail from Gmail to Xmail.
