Lada car prices are expected to increase in 2025, according to AvtoVAZ CEO Maxim Sokolov.
Prices will, of course, change and be indexed to inflation. Therefore, we will try to ensure that the price indexation next year for the entire model range is slightly lower than inflation. Price indexation at a value lower than inflation is, from an economic point of view, an actual price reduction.
According to the top manager, car prices will remain the same until January 1, 2025. After that, the manufacturer will have to determine the cost of cars based on the market situation.
It was also noted that since November 2023, the total price indexation for the Lada model range has been 4.3%, which is significantly lower than the current inflation rate. This decision aims to maintain the affordability of cars for consumers and maintain the brand's competitiveness in the market.
