АвтоВАЗ производит шатунно-поршневую группу только для 1,7-литрового мотора Lada Niva

Components from third-party suppliers are used for other engine models

The AvtoVAZ plant reported that the production of the piston-connecting rod assembly for its engine model is limited to the classic 1.7-liter 83 hp engine, which is installed on Lada Niva Legend and Niva Travel SUVs.

For all other VAZ models, the piston-connecting rod assemblies used are purchased from third-party suppliers.

It was previously reported that Lada Niva Legend and Niva Travel will receive a new 8-valve 1.8-liter engine with a capacity of 90 hp. This update is aimed at improving the characteristics of these cars, as well as increasing their attractiveness in the market.
