The ratio between foreign and domestic manufacturers of scientific equipment has changed dramatically. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin at a meeting with Russian scientists in Novo-Ogaryovo.
The head of state recalled that the issue of domestic laboratory equipment was discussed in August. Putin noted that those working in this area have achieved good results.
Today, we have 800 enterprises offering almost 12 thousand domestic products: reagents, and so on.
The President also said that in the next three years, about a million specialists in the field of engineering should be trained in the country, and by 2030 their number should increase to 1 million 800 thousand people. Putin emphasized that there are 50 engineering schools in the country, and according to the authorities' plans, their number should be increased to 100 by 2030.
