The Russian fifth-generation multirole fighter Su-57E is capable of confidently countering the Chinese J-20 aircraft. This was stated by the Center for Analysis of World Arms Trade (TsAMTO).
Experts studied the fighters available on the world market that India could theoretically acquire. According to their assessment, the production of national Tejas aircraft is seriously behind schedule due to a shortage of F414 engines supplied by the American company General Electric.
The authors note that India currently does not have a single fifth-generation fighter, while China has more than 300 J-20 units.
The only type of heavy fighter available on the world market today that is capable of countering the J-20 on equal terms is the Russian Su-57E.
According to the analysis, the Su-57 also surpasses the American F-35 both in terms of combat experience and its tactical and technical characteristics.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that the Su-34NVO fighter revealed no more than 25% of its unique potential.
