A comprehensive simulator for the new generation manned transport spacecraft (PTK NP) is planned to be built at the Yu. A. Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center (TsPK, part of the Roscosmos State Corporation). This was reported by the press service of the institution.
As part of the task facing the CPC until June 2025, a simulator will be created with the ability to simulate the conditions of launch, insertion, maneuver in orbit, descent and landing of the PTK in an unmanned version.
Additionally, it was noted that the design of the operator's workplace will allow studying the layout of the new ship, assembling and disassembling the PTK docking unit, performing actions with the landing hatch, the operator's seat and the tethered fixation system.
PTK NP is designed for flights to the Russian Orbital Station (ROS) and to deep space. The first flight is scheduled for 2028-2029.
Earlier www1.ru reported that a space traffic management system may appear in Russia.
