Russian Geran-2 unmanned aerial vehicles can now generate extraneous signals to counter air defense systems. It concerns certain noises on many frequencies that interfere with shooting down drones.
This signal interfered with coordinating the actions of mobile air defense groups with small arms, clogging some communication channels, and disappeared as soon as the drones flew from one area to another or hit the target.
Drones easily passed all cordons, flying "much faster than before," and mobile groups on the ground were increasingly silent.
Earlier www1.ru reported that a Russian FPV drone destroyed a rare American L3 Harris Vampire SAM system for the first time.
