The latest Russian fifth-generation Su-57 fighter is equipped with an advanced radar system that is in no way inferior to American and European AESA radars. This was stated by military expert Yevgeny Damantsev.
According to him, the detection range of targets with an RCS of 1 m² for these airborne radars can reach 180-200 km, which is as good as American and European AESA radars based on gallium nitride microwave transistors.
The machines received promising interference-protected AESA radars of the "Zhuk-MAE" type with transceiver modules, the microwave transistors of which are placed on heat-resistant LTCC substrates, made using low-temperature co-fired ceramics technology.
The Su-75 is also equipped with standard multispectral optoelectronic sighting systems of the OLS-50M line for direction finding of heat-contrast and optical-contrast targets without the use of radar.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the Russian "Iskander" for the first time destroyed the Grom OTRK on the front line, footage of a precise hit appeared.
