The Russian Lancet-3 kamikaze drone precisely struck and disabled an American M777A2 howitzer. The impact detonated the ammunition on the combat unit.
The "Lancet" is a loitering munition capable of destroying armored vehicles, multiple launch rocket systems, artillery, and enemy personnel. It can stay in the air for 30-40 minutes and carry a charge of 3 to 5 kg.
Alexander Mikheev, Director General of Rosoboronexport, at the Airshow China 2024 international aerospace salon in Zhuhai earlier in November, did not rule out that the production of the "Lancet" could be organized on the territory of foreign customer countries in the format of technological partnership.
Specifications of the Lancet-3 UAV:
- Maximum altitude - 5 km
- Maximum speed - 110 km/h
- Weight - 12 kg
- Warhead - up to 3 kg
Earlier www1.ru reported that the US acknowledged the helplessness of THAAD and Aegis systems against Russian hypersonic missiles.
