Russia has offered India the supply of heavy bombers, including the advanced Tu-160M "White Swan" strategic missile carrier. The Bulgarian Military publication writes about this "shocking offer".
The Tu-160M, which today is one of the most formidable heavy bombers, is called a weapon capable of radically changing the balance of power in the Indo-Pacific region. Its flight range is 12 thousand km, which makes it possible to hit targets at long distances.
The Tu-160M can carry 12 long-range cruise missiles. It is expected that the presence of strategic missile carriers in the Indian Air Force fleet will strengthen the country's defense.
However, the Indian Air Force will have to invest significant funds in modernizing the infrastructure to accommodate bombers and their maintenance.
