The Federal Service for Supervision of Transport (Rostransnadzor) will receive electronic documentation for the narrow-body short-haul passenger aircraft SSJ-100 from PJSC "Yakovlev". This was reported by the UAC press service.
As explained in the UAC press service, Rostransnadzor specialists will be granted access to an electronic portal containing operational, technical, and flight documentation for the Russian aircraft. This will be useful when conducting inspections of SSJ-100 operator companies to ensure flight safety.
UAC believes that this will also simplify and speed up the agency's work with SSJ-100 operators.
In July 2024, an SSJ-100 crashed in the Moscow region. The aircraft was flying from the Lukhovitsy airfield to the Vnukovo base airfield after periodic maintenance by the Voronin branch of PJSC "UAC". The crash resulted in the death of three crew members.
