Footage of a modernized "motolyga" - a multi-purpose tractor-trailer MT-LB - has appeared online. The tracked vehicle is equipped with two blocks of unguided UB-32 rockets, turning it into a short-range multiple launch rocket system.
Such homemade products first appeared in the troops back in the 80s of the last century. Then, the weapons usually used on Su-25, MiG-27, MiG-21, MiG-23 aircraft, and Mi-24 and Mi-8 helicopters began to be mounted on ground equipment: T-62 tanks, BRDM-2 armored wheeled reconnaissance vehicles, and Ural-4320 vehicles.
