Russian military are actively using fiber-optic tethered drones "Knyaz Vandal" on the front lines. Fiber-optic operation provides stable communication with the operator, and insensitivity to electronic warfare makes it possible to perform tasks at minimum altitudes.
At the same time, it is impossible to determine the launch site of the "Vandal". However, the device also has certain disadvantages: the range of the drone is several kilometers.
