Some Russian household appliance manufacturers will reduce production volumes in 2025. This was reported by representatives of various domestic brands.
Basically, Russian private label (own brands) manufacturers of refrigerators, washing machines, dishwashers, and other household appliances place orders for contract manufacturing, primarily in China, using credit funds.
Alexey Belyakov, CEO of the Vard brand, also spoke about the decrease in production volume.
Production in China, due to a number of reasons (logistics, yuan exchange rate), is becoming less profitable, and we will be looking for opportunities to develop cooperation with factories in other countries.
According to Vladislav Borodin, Director of the Household Electronics Department at OCS, Chinese manufacturers used to give credit to Russian customers, but now they are not ready to cooperate on such terms.
However, not all domestic manufacturers plan to reduce production next year. It was also noted that the drop in unit orders in China will not be critical for the Russian market.
Earlier,www1.ru reported that Russian Railways mayreduce its investment program until 2030 by a third, which will affect the development of the BAM and Trans-Siberian railways.
