The Russian fifth-generation Su-57 fighter was officially presented in China at an international air show. It is equally successful in both strike missions against ground targets and in gaining air superiority.
The aircraft has all the key features of the fifth generation: all-round view of the radar complex, reduced radar signature, intelligent onboard systems, super-maneuverability and the ability to integrate into a single information space of an air-ground operation.
For the first time among serial Russian fighters, weapons on the Su-57 can be placed in an internal compartment — air-to-surface and air-to-air missiles, guided and conventional bombs.
Technical characteristics of the Su-57:
- Maximum speed — 2M (two times the speed of sound)
- Maximum speed near the ground — 1350 km/h
- Practical ceiling — 18,800 m
- Maximum flight duration — up to 10 hours
- Normal take-off weight — 26,700 kg, maximum — 34,000 kg
- Maximum payload weight — weapons, suspended tanks — 7500 kg
- Record range, ferry range with two refuelings in the air — 7800 km, with one refueling — 5200 km, without refueling — 2800 km
Earlier www1.ru reported that the cruiser "Admiral Nakhimov" will be armed with four Pantsir-M SAM systems, Zircons and Kalibrs after leaving repairs.
