“Geran” will seem like a summer flower: the first shots of the Russian “Gerbera” deceiving the enemy's air defense

The cheap UAV was also equipped with a warhead and a camera for video transmission

The first shots of the Russian imitation “Gerbera” drones have appeared online. They are capable of acting as false targets, thereby diverting the work of enemy air defense systems to themselves.

According to the photo presented, it can be seen that the “Gerbera” also carries a warhead. The drone is equipped with a camera and a modem for transmitting video to the operator.

The tactical and technical characteristics of the drones are currently unknown. The media reported that the “Gerbera” can connect to their local 4G networks and transmit the necessary data to the drone operator.

At the same time, the UAV's body itself is made of foam that absorbs radar waves. This helps it to disguise itself from air defense or electronic warfare equipment.

Earlier www1.ru reported on how Russia can defend itself against Western ATACMS missile strikes deep into the country.
