The low-visibility Russian FPV kamikaze drone “Lancet” has added another MLRS to its list of victims. This time, the drone destroyed the Sivalka VM-8 system, which had 80-mm unguided S-8 missiles capable of hitting armored barriers with a physical size of about 420 mm.
Basically, the enemy used this MLRS in counter-battery duels against “wandering” mortar crews with 120-mm 2B11 and MO-120-RT-61 mortars.
Characteristics of the Lancet kamikaze drone:
- Maximum take-off weight - 12 kg
- Body - polymer composite materials
- Ammunition - high-explosive fragmentation, cumulative high-explosive, thermobaric
- Maximum ammunition weight - up to 5 kg
- Maximum flight range - up to 70 km
- Engine - electric
